I believe this was the first time anyone attempted to shoot a professional still life with an iPhone. The shot, for Elle magazine, was supposed to look like a square-style, Nashville-filter Instagram post (Instagram was founded 2010), but it was to be published in a print magazine.

Elle ended up printing the images but not the full page.
